Hi, looking to change the setting of my 2ct round solitaire.

The two settings that I’m considering are the Tacori style HT2657RD85 (round 3 stone with baguettes) or the Victor Canera Emilya Halo.

Debating between these two very different styles and would like your opinion. For reference I’m posting 2 pictures of my current setting. I do not plan to change my wedding band, and always wear the two rings together, so the new setting would need need to look good with my wedding band. Im also posting a few pictures of the Tacori setting with my wedding band together. I don’t have a picture of the VC halo ring for comparison but will post a picture from the VC website.

If anyone has either one of those rings and would like to post a picture of their ring together with a diamond wedding band, I would love to see it.

Thanks in advance!

I had a ring made, the exact Victor Canera setting you mentioned. The quality of his work is top notch. Very secure setting and you don't see a heap of metal. I had pave around the top and side. It was the most well made ring I have ever owned. I also recommend upgrading to single cut diamonds.

I don't have photos with a band but highly, highly recommend Victor Canera's work. I've only dealt with him from overseas/purchased sight unseen. I know @Swanky has worked with him too.

Victor Canera all day!!
He is fabulous to work with and his quality is next level. We adore him

What kind of wedding band do you wear with it? I only see pave wedding bands paired with it so wondering if you have a different kind since mine is not pave. Thanks for the reply!

No band, I purchased the ring for myself as a gift. Unfortunately I don't have the ring anymore (stolen). Insurance did replace it but it wasn't like for like and I sold it. It didn't come close in terms of workmanship.

Here is an old pic Victor took to send to me when it was completed.

Out of the options you posted, I prefer the simplicity of the victor camera ring. The profile is so low and the halo is so well done that it allows the center stone to shine! The tacori looks too busy and I’d imagine the pave work has to be cleaned and replaced often.
