Trim - WITH gusset or WITHOUT?

They're actually the side and bottom panels, which the Trim I (older and resurrected versions) doesn't have. THe original Trims were totally flat.

I'm convinced that I've seen Jackie O with a toile and barenia gussetted Trim...is that impossible? I love the Trim, I, also, much prefer a gussett, the ones without are restrictive for me. I have a small one with not gussett, but I only carry it to dinner or so, I could never function with it all day...

I like the gussetted Trim II for the same reasons as Sofibella!

Me too! I have one with the gusset. It really is very practical.

The Trim I without gusset looks very good on its own but it's not very functional IMO. It took me A LOT of willpower not to buy the one I saw at the Hermes store when I was in Bangkok.

I have two Trims and love them both. My black togo Trim has a gusset and I use it a lot during the winter months and it's very secure with the zipper. The berenia/toile Trim doesn't have a gusset, therefore no zipper and I love it too...using it right now.

The leather could be chamonix. That is what they were doing with toile in colored leathers that year It has a matte finish, yet doesn't scratch badly and you can polish it back up.
