It's amazing how one design changes its overall impression with the colours.
Oftem I would realise that it's actually the same design, because one cw is tone in tone while another works with strong contrasts. This scarf demonstrates this "effect" very well.

My SA said that for SS 2017 there would be some really wonderful new Alice Shirley designs (my SA is a big fan of this designer and owns all Alice Shirley's silk designs to date)
I heard from an SA that The Savana Dance, which was issued in 70 cm in S/S 2016, will come as a 140 cm in S/S 2017. I believe it's a CS shawl.

My goodness... Spring 17 is going to be a hit!!! Can't wait to see SD and MDZ in CSGM! I was hoping for this so I'm glad H is releasing in larger format!!!

Second, and more important: in my eyes this is not the way H silk should be treated, messing around between machines (oil!). Seeing this I wonder if the silk seen in the video ended up in retail?
To me this video does not showcase silk manufacturing but a woman messing around with delicate scarves.
I am amused, how conservative I am.

I totally agree! Seeing all that silk in a roll made me cringe: it looks mass produced and diminishes the value of each scarf [emoji15]. I love my scarves, but this video made me think...
