It might be a return. There were no major price increases on GSTs since 2010-11. If you're not happy, bring it back. I saw a lot of XL sizes on reseller websites, since the size is not as popular as regular size, the pricing was good.

Yes. Thanks so much.. Just wondering how come they still have series 18 in the boutiques? Where are these coming from? Its already 2016.

Do this misalignment in stitches usually found in chanel bags? This is from a chanel boutique. Just kind of afraid about the news on boutique fakes. There's like 5 a little misaligned stitches at the back.

That to me doesn't look like a major misalignment. Craftsmanship generally are declining in just about any type of merchandise. It's just a fact. Nowadays people are all about cutting corners and raising prices.

So it's just ok to purchase brand new chanel bag like that? Also tarnished zippers already? And a little slouch at the bottom right side of the bag? This is from a Chanel Boutique series 18. Also at the back...

I didn't say it was ok to purchase or not. That's subjective as some people really don't mind. I just stated the fact: all types of merchandise' qualities are declining; people are cutting corners. Also, some employees aren't careful when handling/ putting bags on shelves. So they "fall over" and create dents etc.

I'm in the US, so not sure what import duties for you would be. But fashionphile, boutique patina on ebay, timeless luxuries are popular here on tPF. GL

GST is bound to be slouchy so I'm not surprised an older bag looks like this. I don't think this is a quality issue abot alignment

Can anyone tell me how much the GST is now in euro (if you can find one) and does anyone know how much it was in Europe in 2008? Thats when i bought mine and i honestly cant remember how much it was...thanks ladies!
