This is my third purchase for this season. I'm trying to be a little more deliberate than usual with my scarf-purchasing, trying to embrace the "less is more" mantra. (the keyword here is TRYING).
Anyway, I don't think this was shown here before, so here is Imprimeur Fou Steeple Poste CW06 (marine/ naturel/ bleu moyen), from the men department.
I love the fact that it is a completely different scarf in the four corners. I tried to capture the fact that it goes from a very light taupe to a deep blue, almost black.
Also, I noticed the men's CSGM have a "drier" hand than the female equivalent. I hope this means less pilling...

Oh my - this is very cool MMCat. Thank you for sharing this men's silk. So tempting!

Here is my latest AF/AW silk. Chemin de Corail colorway 14 ardoise. I think it is definitely a silk for men and women!

A few new purchases.
Hermes Electrique Rouge/Bleu/Prune (CW 06)
I think I got carried away with this one. I was trying Chemins de corail 09 (gray/blue) and la Legende de L'arbre coloriage in taupe/petrol, but neither of them loved me . The SA picked this one and somehow made me happy, with the cute polka dots...I am not sure I'll be able to wear it with my mostly black, blue and neutral outfits, but so be it.
I am showing the two bias folds, since they are so different.

I also purchased Au Coin du feu in the most Christmas-y CW 07. Pegasus has done such a good job in showing this scarf, that I don't really need to do more!

Oh, I think that Electrique is the one I tried on and liked. My SA handed it to me randomly (I had just bought the gavroche in blue/purple/ orange). I'm trying to stay away from 90s for a while, though. But this is a great scarf! I hope you are happy with it.

The Chemin is such a beautiful design, Lanit and your colorway is perfect. Croisette just posted hers! This is my favorite 90 of the season.

Thank you!
your scarf s great, too. I was looking forward for a Chemin du Corail that would work for me, and this one was the prettiest! DH voted it down because he does not like scarves with a lot of background.
you wear it so well!

@bova Dear Bova I am your twin on the neutral boucles. I bought it today. Thank you for your inspiration. I'm going to try to stay away from any other 90s this season. Don't know how I'll do with that.

And thank you everyone for your opinion on the red prune blue cheval Phoenix. I picked that up too. Modeling photos to follow when they arrive later this week.

I almost bought the same one last week lanit, but I had to put the brakes on as I had already picked out the 140cm Tigre, a 70 and my Christmas CSGM which is hiding in my bureau until the big day!

I am so glad you got the Boucle pbp, you will love it I am sure. You have me thinking a lot about the Cheval Phoenix as well, I am anxiously awaiting modeling shots!

It gets worse... as I was eating lunch I read madmadcats account about the black boucles cashmere. And I thought gosh maybe that would be better than the silk for me. So I went back. And the silk had already shipped so I got the cashmere too. And I'll have to decide which version I like best when I get them later in the week. [emoji28] @MadMadCat our store had several of the cashmeres.

For anyone also deciding the cashmere has orange in it whereas the silk does not.

This is kind of a terrible photo and doesn't do it justice. It goes nicely with my Paris Rome Chanel jacket. I have to decide whether I like it better than the dallet.

Thank you PBP!
I will look for the shawl in my store. I will have to go there for some silver jewelry that I didn't find in my trip to Paris.

I'd like if the boucles shawl didn't have orange, more like the carre', but I think it is still quite beautiful and could work for me. For reasons beyond my understanding, I tend to have a lot of carres that go with black and a lot of shawls that go with blue, but only three shawls that go with black. I think this would also work well with my maxmara black and camel coats, as a winter scarf.

I think it would look incredible with your black and camel coats. I don't usually go for orange. It's not my color but I think the addition of the orange to the shawl gives it a uniquely Hermes feeling and makes it seem a bit more special. Good luck finding one. They seem like recent arrivals in the US so I think you will be able to easily find one.
