Janinevs, that's a beautiful bag! I'm a little worried about the shoulder straps, though. If I have a lot of things in it I'd want longer straps so I could put it on my shoulder comfortably. I also have a lot of satchel-shaped bags, so I think I'm looking for north-south bag. Actually, I'm currently using a large cream MbyMJ satchel but when I have a lot of things in it (such as files from work, notepads, etc.) it's too big to fit under my arm and carrying a heavy bag across campus in my hand might be difficult.

Still looking around! That HH Ibiza is probably the front runner right now, but I'm still open to suggestions!

Hi mockinglee, if you're still considering the HH Ibiza convertible flight tote, you may want to look at HH's new bag called the Pan Am nylon tote. I ordered the tote in smoke blue, and I love it. It's a square shaped bag with clips at the top so that the bag can be converted into a more triangular shape (as pictured on the HH site). The straps have about an 8" drop and fit over my shoulder comfortably. The bag is $115 but with the discount code DCHH which I used yesterday, I got 25% off and free shipping. It's a no-frills type of bag, but for the price, I think it's worth it. I may have to order another one.
