Society Girls on E!

I am watching E! right now. Who are these society girls? They are saying they are role models for the younger generation. But all i can see is their big boobs overflowing their very expensive dresses and attending fancy charities and looking pretty under the white umbrellas in the lawn. Tell me i'm wrong.

One of the girls is Tinsley Mortimer. She's a socialite from New York who married into an old money, waspy family. There were some snippets from Lloyd Grove(gossip columnist) about her so-called "humble" beginnings. I think I remember reading that her family in Richmond is wealthy, and her dad ran a rug cleaning business. A lot of girls in her set are a bit taken aback by her participation in this since it seems more public than they're used to.
