If the bag looks like its new and in good shape, perhaps someone prior to you purchased it, took it home and put all her stuff in there to see how it all fit and tried it on. Maybe when she decided it didn't work for her, she returned it but mistakenly left the lip gloss in there. It could be a new bag after all. I always throw all my stuff in a bag that I buy and try on it. That could be what happened, or at least lets hope
