How did you go with the poudre matte ones love? did you end up keeping it? I am about to get it online as well but thought calf skin needs more TLC than the patent. unfortunately patent cage flats are really hard to find esp in my size.

I returned them as I was too worried about scuffing at that price it wasn't worth it. Keeping the patent ones though!
Good decision. I have a Leather kitten heels RS and it got scuffed to the side on the right pair just after second outing . Leather is so delicate and hard to maintain so good call on retuning them.
Gosh I love my patent flats but still getting worst blistersworn them 4 times now and wear them every time before I go out with socks to stretch them and still end up with a huge blister after walking in them for a couple hours
All my patent shoes are so much less comfortable than non patent. I was going to get patent flats as I do think they are prettier but couldn't do the pain especially with flats. Have you tried the hairdryer method?

I have non-patent cage flats, and they gave me pain in the beginning too, I had to stick in cushioning in the spots that rub and caused blisters. I used cushioning by Dr Scholls, I forgot what it's called but it looks like the pic below. It's a tape of cushioning that you can cut to size:
Foot petals have a product called 'Pressure Pointz', which are tiny versions of the inserts that you can stick to problematic spots.

Oh thanks for that I will definitely give that a try hopefully I can find one this week it just seems to run bad on side of my foot so will definitely try the tape!

You can try cutting pieces of thin moleskin and placing it in the shoes where they give you blisters, my valentino flats always gave me blisters and putting the mole skin in has completely resolved the issue.
