it was just how mine came. if you want it to droop down just store it in the dust bag with the tab pressed down, and up against a wall or something. mine's up against the back of my closet.

I am doing the same thing, I wore it out on Sunday and it felt a little weird with the tag sticking out. I'm glad to know it wasn't just mine with this issue. I hope it flattens out soon.
