This week we have an Hermès theme,
One that makes our eyes just gleam…
Open that drawer, proceed to look;
Unfold those scarves and check that nook!
Upon our scarves are shoes and bags,
And some have scarves with Hermès tags.
Look till you can look no more
And find a scarf with an Hermès store!
You know you’ve seen them here and there,
Some scarves are common, others rare,
So let’s delight in what we wear
And bring scarves out for all to share!

I only have a few of either yellow or orange scarves, because I don't believe those colors suit me (I tend toward blue, pink, or red). But this orange Turandot was the cw that I really was on the hunt for, because I love the way the blue dragon, turtle, and other creatures "pop." And I shall take your advice, & wear orange more! Next weekend it's Les Ballets Russes as we head to the Smuin ballet... orange, green, & navy!

Don't think I have any scarves on this theme. I ADORE the Minuit au Faubourg, I just love the fact the horse has a mask on, like Zorro, so funny! One day I will get one (the scarf, not a horse in a mask)! A few years ago on our hols I was shown the Beverly Hills scarf in the Hermès store in Beverly Hills but as my husband and 2 boys were with me, all radiating disapproval, I was the model of self-denial..they were itching to get out of the store to admire a Bugatti Veron parked outside...note to self - next time let them go lick the lovely shiny car and while they are distracted, buy the scarf!
Thanks, Pudfish -- I'm glad you enjoy the rhymes. I'm no rapper (or singer either) and I can't even keep time clapping to a tune with a crowd, but for some reason I seem to have a knack for doggerel.
As I mentioned elsewhere, I have a theory that Dimitri R designed Minuit au Faubourg as the continuation of Quand Soudain -- there's that note a suivre (to be continued) and both have comic book designs and feature the free horse from the Faubourg roof. See both in the intro.
I was surprised to see how many H scarves referring to Hermes & Hermes products that I have, but there are many more. Remember papertiger and her stunning identification of the purses in L'elegance et le Confort en Automobile?

Oh my gosh - I never noticed those details referencing other scarves before! How adorable!
