Replacing Handles?

Has anyone ever asked about replacing the handles? I know LV will do it but their vachetta is not colour-specific.

I wish they would do it! I never asked! I tend to doubt it though. Maybe someone here knows!

I had a friend that had an issue with the handles of one of her bag (it started to get these strange ripples), and when they replaced it they asked if she wanted the color to match the piping. When she got it back, and handles felt new, but the color closely matched the patinaed piping.
