Question re: Ebay problem (LV)....

Seller can inform ebay that she has given you a full refund and once you agree (and do this only if you HAVE received it), ebay will refund her the Final Value Fees (ie. fees charged for a successful sale). But ebay won't refund her the Listing Fees. Do NOT pay for the listing fees, unless of course you want to. Some people do, just to keep the Seller happy and to get their refund quickly.

If seller relists, and the item sells, then she's not charged the listing fees again, so effectively she has gotten the listing fees back, iykwim.

....unless it's gone on for so long that even ebay has timed the seller out re refunding final value fees, maybe that's why seller wants you to bear it?

Your feedback rating will not be affected. Altho seller can add a note to your feedback saying nasty things if she wants, she can't change a positive to a negative.

At this stage, I dont think seller can give you a unpaid item strike?

As for shipping fees, I think buyer is actually supposed to bear both ways according to ebay rules. however usually buyers will negotiate with sellers, and sometimes sellers will agree to bear 1 or even both ways.

good luck!! hope you get your money back soon!
