purse/city comparison?

I can personally fit more in my purse than the city. I am more of a fan of bags which can be carried on the shoulder, especially when travelling to work etc. The city is a great bag too, but like it's been said before works better when held by the hand or in the crook of your arm. The purse is wider so when it's worn on the shoulder it is quite big. I'll try post some pics soon for you to see the comparison! I love the purse style, it's sad that BAL are discontinuing it
Hmm the purse doesn't work for me because I generally prefer bags with a base (as found on all the other bbag styles). It's also a lil dressier than the city imo... =)
I know what you mean DancingQueen, it's nice when a bag can sit nicely.
When I put my purse down it has to kind of lie on it's side!:s The purse is more "dressy" I guess, and it has more of a structured shape, whereas the city is more slouchy and can look different depending on how it's carried. I do love them both! That's the great thing about BBags there is a bag for every occasion!

i also feel the city is nice in fact i am in the same dilemna and i had asked the question about purse---i love the first bag so i feel city will be almost similiar

Would you say the purse is much smaller then the work? Is it the same width? My work measures approx. 17.5 in width and 10.5" Tall

It's mainly the depth which is missed on a purse compared with a city or a work. In comparison with a work the purse is definitely 'smaller', IMO
