Number 2 was my first Coach bag. My mother gave this to me in 1996 as a high school graduation present (10 years ago, I'm so old!). It's a drawstring bag with two pockets in the front; the color is called Mahogany.

My first real designer bag is at my parents' house. It is a very simple Gucci that my dad bought me for my 17th birthday (18 years ago!) It was one ofthe cheapest one that they had, but I loved that purse!

That kind of sounds like mine, though it's been *mumble,mumble* years ago.

My first designer bag, purchased with my own money. My teeny old school Gucci! My mother hijacked it repeatedly, even after I bought her a Gucci of her own.

^Yep, I love how careless I can be with it. It's waterproof and scratchproof and I don't have to worry about the handles darkening. I've had it for about a year and a half now and still enjoy it.

It was given to me on my wedding day by my god father almost 10 years ago.

I so love the way LV holds up over time!!!! I hate the prices, but it lasts, and if you need a repair, they're one of the few companies that can do it themselves.

I'm ashamed to say that my first was a Gucci camera bag in black coated canvas. That was back in the days when they were sold all over the place, and they were losing their luxury appeal. I don't think I carried it 20 times before it went into the dustbag. No pics please, it's sad enough that I own it. Still. LOL
