Differences between old-style Ashers/Magnolias and new-style Ashers/Magnolias:
Shorter, thicker braided handles (strap drop ~7") vs. longer, thinner braided handles (strap drop ~8")
Exterior pocket zipper tracks that stop in the middle vs. continuous zipper tracks
Unfinished edges (e.g. on the underside of the braided handles) vs. finished (with sealant paint) edges
(Note: These are just the ones I've personally noticed.)
(Note: The Magnolia isn't actually larger than the Asher, as it sort of appears here; the Magnolia was unstuffed whilst the Asher was stuffed when this pic was taken.)
