please tell me something about reissue

I always think the lock of reissue is not the original style, the lock of CC is the most original. But someone told me today that the lock of reissue is the style earlier than CC lock,
Please someone tell me if it is true to not.

Yes the lock on the reissue is the original, it's called the Mademoiselle lock as Ms Coco Chanel is never married, the CC lock was introduced to the classic flaps only in the 1980s by designer Karl legerfeld.
