Ok I actually got this beautiful beige/pink/white and the dark olive khaki. These pics are for the black and pink. I forgot to take a pic of the dark khaki but it's on the Chanel site. I was looking for it awhile back and no one knew what it was. LET ME TELL U, the back pocket is PERFECT SIZE for the iPhone 6. Finally, a bag back pocket that is useful!!

SOMETIMES 3 is allowed. It's like once I have 2, I can have 3. I don't have to have 4 because I have already passed the pair threshold.

*nods*

Yep, I know EXACTLY what you mean. Like, a little mini-group, a collection-within-a-collection, is ok. It's the "just one" that is problematic, even though one of my main goals with bags is to have "A SIGNATURE BAG" for each kind of occasion, which requires, by definition, having just one (or, at least, just one of a particular style or niche). This goes against ALL my shopping instincts, though. I buy in groups. It's pretty easy for me to abstain from buying ANYTHING, but when I open the floodgates on a particular brand or item . . . quantities are likely to rack up.

Sorry if this is so detailed. I think you probably understand where I am coming from

Girl . . . I see you. In the "Avatar" sense. I LOVE discussing the details! Is that weird, that I genuinely WANT TO KNOW people's entire purse wardrobe, history, and psychology?? LOL. But like really.

I love that you got your bonus and went on a Vegas shopping spree. That's a bucket list moment! I wish cameras had been following you, reality-show style!

Maybe your SA is now getting a bonus as well after all your shopping [emoji12].
It was an absolute joy following your shopping adventure, it made me feel less guilty about my own purchases as well. I think you made the right decision returning the crochet bags. Enjoy all of your purchases!!!

OMG I have scratched that itch so much it's like raw and the skin is gone. I am going to have to go home and recover and think about exactly what did I just get? The blue handle boy is beautiful. I had only seen the navy before, this one is very pretty for sure. Of the ones I liked and left, this one in blue and in red; and then the Trendy CC in blue, and that purple pizzazzy one I posted on the stock thread. But it's not suitable for my lifestyle.

Are we in the confession room? Because I went to return a little boy zip card case last night, I had found a fabulous card case/ wallet at Dior that is SO much more user friendly, and.....cough....ok my bonus is gone. Let's just say that. Should I post them? I don't drink but I am feeling a bit shopping hangover.

Glad the purple sparkly pizzazzy stayed at the shops, it's not a longtermer !!!

Heck yeah - post them! [emoji3][emoji5][emoji7]

I need to get into whatever line of work you do so the Chanel universe can work for me a bit more [emoji6]

And Dior is really not a bad alternative, is it?

Did you end up keeping the belt?

What's the best hangover cure? Quick trip to Balenciaga?

E x

Hi Elizabeth - ok totally. I would be confused as all get out too. Which blue one did you like? The trendy or the boy in the blue?

Here's the list of this tour de crazy. 3 small boys - pink, burgundy with chains, and the bronze. 1 seasonal - white "day trip" bag. And 1 top handle boy in camel. And the 4 shoes. On super sale. And a little zip card case - mademoiselle - in red.

Hi Summer! Ok you and I are instant soul mates! I have IMPROVED over the years by not having to have EVERY COLOR in some style I like of anything - shoes, bags, jeans, lulu, perfumes, jewelry, like, if I didn't own every color made, it irked me to such a degree I would feel like getting rid of the whole damn collection because it wasn't complete. It's an OCD thing (from your local therapist here) and I know it. I come from a long line of collectors. Not really shoppers as much as shopping to COLLECT. My father and mother both have the genetics for this (anxiety for one) and collect things in the most amazing arenas. You should have seen me in the juicy couture days. OMG. I had to have every color of every tracksuit. SO I get on these tangents and DO a collection. To me, it's like, exhausting and fun for sure, but I am actually TRYING to complete something. So, I've made inroads to improvement by not having to have every color of everything. But pairs, yes, something about pairs. Shoes even. One black, one beige. One navy and one white. One gray and one red. You name it. SOMETIMES 3 is allowed. It's like once I have 2, I can have 3. I don't have to have 4 because I have already passed the pair threshold.

I am walking away with 6 bags from Vegas, plus the camel boy I received before. Returning the crochets and pink borse is already returned. With my bonus I did also get lots of fun clothes, 4 pr of Chanel shoes on sale, some Vince shoes on sale, some makeup, 3 REALLY cool LV bangle bracelets in yellow, rose and white gold (plated of course not solid) etc. It went a long way! Seriously I stretched that baby to the point where I've had a style makeover!!

Now, I haven't posted the last 2 I managed to do at 11pm last night. Sober. The camel boy already has its friend at home in black. 3 small boys. A "day trip" bag in white. NOW the red and navy were also beautiful in this, and the price point is excellent for this bag. I was proud of myself for walking away from the read and navy and only going for white, which is what I wanted, a white bag. So that little guy will be without a partner.

This all said I may have a little wish list going to a spouse to my "day trip" bag (certainly NOT right now!) and what's at home are the other pairs of chevron mini squares and pair of trendy CC's. Sorry if this is so detailed. I think you probably understand where I am coming from  I DO feel a sense of "done-ness" now though!!

Thank you for listening and responding and I love the feedback!

Too bad we can't have a purse forum cruise or something. You know where all of us like take a whole boat and just gab the entire time about stuff like this. Megs?? TPF cruise? ha ha.

B-r-a-v-o.
Perhaps we can look forward to some fun "in action" photos in the months to come of these spectacular scores?!?!?!
That TPF cruise' Chanel boutique would be cleaned out on day 1!!! but... the most stylish cruise for sure!!! - Awesome idea! Can you imagine?!?! The Chanel SAs would FIGHT to be working on that cruise for sure.
Congratulations on these amazing bags to add to your collection and have loads of fun rocking them!!!

I am here for a reason. For a purpose. And that is to create such a perspective for all of you that you feel good about your lesser addictions. I will serve you well.

So, I am sending the belt back. It was heavy and didn't lay quite right against softer fabrics, it weighed them down where it should have accentuated things?

And NO HAIR OF THE DOG for me!! I did take a stroll through Balenciage in NM (they have a huge selection there) and the bags were nice, but alas, uninspiring.

DIOR is amazing. Their stuff is beautiful, but they just hired the Valentino designer (like 5 days ago) who created the whole Rockstud thing, and she is said to be totally shaking things up for Dior. The staff has been collectively churning out designs. And although beautiful, the embellishments and add-ons are all over the map. The Lady Dior is lovely, but I hate the entry to the bag, I don't like that the handles don't go down, and I also don't like that they are thin, sort of like 2 shells cackling each other. I would prefer rounded handles, that laid down well when told to :) BUT I do find their stuff to be so well designed from a user perspective. Maybe one of these days they will be a 4th in the Hermes-Chanel-LV reigning triad.

I came home (hubs still playing golf there), took a deep breath, balanced my budget (much needed after this jaunt) and stared at the mountains with my cats infesting my space. The good stuff. A little spicy Thai food and a bit of RHONY, and we are good. And oh yes, WORK tomorrow!

And these little nuggets were waiting for me when I got back. Yay.

Thank you Vanana! I need to go read your thread about your coat (I've heard about it and need to see). I shall be catching up on these very important items tonight! So the burgundy boy with chains is AWESOME. It was expensive. I nearly gagged. I was like, oh, I will take these 2. And then I asked, how much is this one? Anticipating more but wow, ok. But it's here to stay nonetheless. And the bronze looks WAY better IRL. I will post when it arrives!!

Vanana I am hoping for some sobriety in my purchases after this binge! Seriously. We are going to start with 30 days and see how I do. I didn't start this collecting thing until about May, and I put together a pretty good one pretty fast. So, now it's just the maintaining, adding one or 2 here and there. But not buying like 14 Chanel bags in 2 months. But, to be fair, I did sell a massive amount of other bags, like 40, of "other brands" and put towards this.

Ms Gail is suggesting a Vegas trip for us Chanel gals! Brilliant idea! There are 3 boutiques, and NM and I believe Saks also. They will supply us!

So this is crazy when you start comparing apples and apples with this handbag madness. I was looking at my first night's loot - the chain and pink chevron small boys and going, ok, this is almost as much as I spent on my beautiful custom ordered red leather sofa for my office that I struggled with paying so much for. Pic attached. I mean I negotiated hard so I didn't of course pay retail which would have been 4 bags' worth. But still. Crazy isn't it? 2 small handbags. Or a large 600 lb custom sofa. It's like In college when everything is in beer currency. Oh don't buy that - that's like 2 cases of beer! Geez. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1468466136.866446.jpg
