^Yesther, she made it pretty clear that they will not be fixing the grommet. It's not that big of a deal (at least I can use the bag now!) and if it bothers me, I'll get it fixed again. 
I do understand that they can't just fix every bag that comes in so the 1 1/2 years is pretty reasonable for fixes. I just didn't know.
