On a confirming note however, I was at south coast plaza today and asked the sales manager about the status and he said it indeed was delayed to Feb 1 because they wanted to line it up more with valentines day... Don't know if that's bs or not... But still more info.

Yes, they are indeed delayed until February - Perfect timing for the price increase. Luxury retailers see a boost in sales the days leading up to Valentines Day, so a coveted item and a price increase means more money at the end of Louis' day. A few stores in the U.S. have them in and are selling them - I know this for a fact, but they aren't displaying them for sale.

Apparently Waikiki and Ala Moana were the only Hawaiian stores to receive the cosmetic cases so far and they're all either sold or spoken for
