Mac exhange?

I've never bought products from MAC before. Not really into make-up very much. But I had a friend buy me some eye shadows and I don't really like the color. How is MAC with their exchange policy? Will they allow an exchange without a receipt? TIA!

Do you still have the box? I've returned a product that was in the box. Why don't you call your local store and see what they say?

My store is also very lenient. She didn't even open the box, just let me exchange. However, I had my receipt, so I'm not sure about your situation. It won't hurt to try.

Just tell them you got it as a present from a friend and dont really like the color im sure they'll do an exchange for you
