LV gives out authentication letter?!

LV does not do authentication letters; however, LV has done a couple replacement value letters for me on some vintage pieces for my home owners insurance. Allstate required it for the items no longer in their catalog. Lv does not provide just authentication letters though; however, they do provide a letter if the item is not authentic!
