The multicolour speedy. It was the FIRST designer bag I'd ever fallen for, but I kept hesitating on getting one, kept thinking I'd outgrow it.

No, but it's been discontinued before and re-released subsequently with some upgrades. A new version in medium Nomade was launched this fall (stunning!). My SA suggested that a Mono canvas Sac Plat would eventually return again. I have no doubt that's true since this is one of LV's oldest designs.
When is the epi speedy coming back? Sorry I have not really been paying attention to all the new LV launches, thank you!
Agree, it was a perfect size and very pretty design .... And the preloved ones usually seem pretty beat up
