Longchamp or Herve Chaperlier?

So it's my cousin's birthday and she's in school right now. I was thinking about getting get a bag she could use at school but not sure which one is better? I personally used Longchamp but I heard Herve Chapelier bags are right up there. What do you guys think??

i used a herve all through college and adored it...still use it when i go away (yes my previous school bag carries the "essential" toiletries :shame but in my post college years, i have fallen for longchamp. they def have more variety in and seem to be much easier to find. it really depends on the girl. either way its a great bday gift!

Chapelier for the girl who is a bit artsy, a bit flirty.
Longchamp for the girl who is a bit more classic, more elegant.

I own both. I love and favor my Longchamp. However, one positive thing about HC is that they can be washed. I use mine as a gym bag but I have had it for years and years. Also, my HC has a decent sized zippered inside pocket. But I LOVE my Longchamp. To me, it seems more classic. But then again, I am not a college student!

I don't think you can go wrong with either bag.
