that's weird...so if there's no catalog, what is this?

No - the lastest catalogue has the dark brown cover with a backround picture of what I am assuming is a bridge in Paris. Now at the table of contents in the beginning of the book shows you all the colours in all the lines - the gold catalogue didn't have this i t only showed it in the intro of each line.
Are you all refering to this catalogue? I got it 2 weeks ago when i bought my Mahina xs Gris. I had a tough time getting it, SA even refused to give me a box for my purchase. I walked out & SA relented & gave me the box & catalogue.
That's the one! I just saw it lying around by the shoes so I just took it because I know they are impossible to get now..
I told my SA I won't buy the purse unless I get a box so I got a box!
I spoke to 866 in detail yesterday about the new store opening in my area and asked about Le Catalogue and why I haven't received one in the mail like I have for the past few years. 2 different CS reps (both VERY VERY nice) told me roughly the same thing:
1) They would no longer be making or mailing out catalogues
2) due to the excessive cost and to be "greener" by not using paper
(I think it's "so we can keep more money in our pockets" but I'm not saying anything, lol).
I told both that by having the catalogue, you see more and more things you want to buy and that only HELPS LV!

Congrats!!!! Do post some modeling pix. Luckily, my wonderful SA threw in a catolog with my last order.
My friend and I were in the Crown Casino LV the other night and she purchased her first LV the Mini Pochette (nawww, but nothing super expensive or amazing)
And I was walking around looking like a slob (Doc Martens, A top with holes and saftey pins in it, faux leather pants and a old tacky longchamp bag and messy hair) nothing fancy at all.
and one of the SA's approached me and said "you look like your looking for something, have you got our new catalogue ?" and I said "the SA at chadstone said there not doing catalogues anymore" and he replied with " don't listen to what they say at chadstone, their just dumb" I WAS LIKE
anyways back to the story he returned with 2 shopping bags with a catalogue for my friend and I, she was very excited because she got too carry 3 shopping bags (first LV experience LOL)
