Same here. I have never seen it here in Alaska. I have been here for almost 4yrs.

Previously I was in Abilene TX. Never saw it there. Before that in Dallas, and at THAT time I never saw it there. Maybe its there now

Just because nobody does it or has a strange look because they have never seen it does NOT mean they have no fashion sense.

I agree. I've never seen scarves or keyfobs/chains on bags where I live/have lived/traveled. Well the only exception would be kids who put keychains on their backpacks. Only encountered it when I joined tPF.

I personally don't like scarves or lots of keyfobs on a bag. I think it is distracting. I do have an initial charm on my tote, but I wouldn't put any more than that.

I figured everyone was familiar with the "scarf on the bag" thing - especially from watching the Legally Blonde movies with Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon).
