Hugh Grant

He seems like a nice guy to me, maybe a little commitment phobe, but nice overall. I hope he finds happiness. I personally loved him and liz as a couple. Never quite warmed to Jemima (though very pretty).

There was too much drama in the relationship to work out long term. I do hope the split was amicable, and they can both move on without too much fuss. The media heat in the U.K. was pretty intense. I'm sure that didn't help either but that's just one part of it.

Eddie Murphy was the one that gave a ride to a woman and finding out later that not only was it a prostitute but it was a transvestite prostitute. (There was no sex involved.)

Hugh Grant was the one caught getting . . . um . . . Lewinskied in his car by a prostitute named Divine Brown.

I think people got over both of those incidnts because both Eddie Murphy and Hugh Grant seemed genuinely sorry that it happened.

Hugh Grant was on Leno shortly after it happened, and Leno was like, "What the hell were you thinking?"

Yeah i agree... i heard it was her that broke it off though ! :s

He said on Live with Regis and Kelly this past week that Drew Barrymore was "the yin to his yang" and she was equally complimentary of him. When pressed about her being his type, he said something about having a girlfriend. Hmmm... romance soon to blossom? They even have little nicknames for each other... Hubert and Druella!

Hmm.... Drew seems a little young for him. I really like Hugh though, i just dont think he is ready to settle down with anyone.

I guess i am the only one that is shocked by this!!
I thought they would last since they have been together for a while now and it seemed that Hugh has finaly settled down.Too bad.

Hugh Grant to play pivotal role at Liz Hurley's wedding - complete with odd gift

His closeness to Elizabeth Hurley was cited as a major reason behind his recent split with Jemima Khan.

And it seems Hugh Grant has wasted no time getting re-acquainted with his former girlfriend of 13 years since last weekend's break-up.
The actor, the Mail has learnt, will not only be a guest at Hurley's imminent wedding to textile magnate Arun Nayar, but he will play a pivotal role.
Grant, 46, will be an usher at next month's ceremony with special speech-making responsibilities.

"Hugh will be like a co-host alongside the best man on the day. He will be making a speech - but pointedly it will be clean. It will be a comedy turn, but there will be no smutty little asides or innuendoes about the relationship they had all those years.
"Hugh and Elizabeth will be going through what is allowed to be said and what is not. Elizabeth does not want to make her new husband feel awkward or embarrassed on their big day.
"Hugh will joke about how Elizabeth carried on like a right little Hitler when she produced him on Mickey Blue Eyes. He'll be asking Arun whether he really knows what he's taking on. To conclude he will speak of his happiness that Elizabeth has finally found a man who makes her fantastically happy," said a friend.
And to further bond his friendship with Mr Nayar, Grant has also apparently been invited on his stag-do.
According to sources close to the bride the actor has also quite bizarrely sponsored a monkey as a wedding gift.

The primate in question - currently resident at a British zoo - will be named "Elizabeth" in return for Grant paying for its upkeep. The gift is apparently a reference to the nickname she used to give him when they were dating.
Indeed, Miss Hurley has previously revealed in an interview that they named the production company they co-owned Simian due to Grant's apparent monkey-like looks.

She has said: "We named our company that way because I think Hugh looks like a chimpanzee. His ears are too small and too high on his head. It gives him a very simian expression. It's humiliating to admit it but it's the truth."
Friends revealed last night that it was in fact a second extraordinarily expensive present Grant bought Miss Hurley from jewellers Chopard that that proved the final nail in the coffin for his relationship with Miss Khan.
A friend revealed: "When Jemima discovered Hugh had forked out so much on a Chopard necklace for Elizabeth and had it engraved with a personal message, she felt enough was enough.

"Jemima has never been altogether comfortable with Hugh's ongoining closeness to Elizabeth, and the wedding gift was the last straw."
Grant's extravagant gift came despite a request from the bride that there should be no wedding presents. Instead Hurley has asked donations might be made to Elton John's Aids Foundation.

Sir Elton, a close friend of Miss Hurley, will dedicate a rendition of Your Song to the model and her fiance at the Gloucestershire ceremony to be held at the beginning of March. During the wedding party guests will also be entertained by LA magician David Blaine.
Wedding organisers even tried to secure diva Barbara Streisand to serenade the 890 guests during the wedding party but her excessive demands apparently meant her appearance was cancelled.
The Beckhams are also expected to attend the wedding despite rumours that Victoria has fallen out with Liz since moving Stateside in favour of socialising with the US A-list.

The 41-year-old model will hold the first of her two nuptial celebrations over a country weekend in the Cotswolds. Guests will also take part in a pheasant shoot on the £2.5 million Gloucestershire estate near Ampney Knowle as part of the elaborate wedding weekend.

The location of the wedding party is believed to be Sudely Castle - the home of close friends Henry Dent-Brocklehurst and Lili Maltese.
To make sure that no-one is able to upstage her the bride will have four makeup artists and three hairdressers on hand to make sure she looks perfect at every moment of the big day. She has also hired the services of a lighting crew to make sure she is bathed in a flattering glow at all times.
Elizabeth will be making three costume changes on the big day with different dresses for the marriage ceremony and the drinks reception afterwards before changing into a white sequined Versace gown for the evening party with handmade jewelled Jimmy Choo shoes.
Elizabeth's son Damien, by American billionaire Steve Bing, is closely involved with the wedding arrangements. The four-year-old, who counts Grant as a godfather, will be a ring bearer in the ceremony. He is wearing an identical outfit to the groom.

The wedding to textile boss Arun Nayar, also 41, is rumoured to have cost £2 million while the ring itself cost just under £1 million.
Organising the two weddings has been intensive since Mr Nayar's divorce from Valentina Pedroni was finalised in November 2005. The Indian leg of their nuptials will be held at Devi Garh, an eighteenth century palace and fort, later this March in Rajasthan.
