How do you respond to rude questions?

someone i wasn't close with actually asked me that once and i looked at them like "does it look like i would wear anything fake?" my friend's mom actually told me that i got "BIGGER" when i asked her if she needed help with cooking ... i think that was the worst comment of my life because all my friends heard it :s

thanks everyone! such great input! i know in the grander scheme of things, it's sometimes more worth it to just forget it and move on...but it's good to know I'm not the only one mulling over these things sometimes. And it's always better to remember to "be a lady" above everything else!
