Well they are two completely different bags, but I vote shoulder flap because it is lighter, pretty and more versatile.. and it goes on your shoulder!

shoulder flap......the Miranda is gorgeous (and huge) but the shoulder flap would be more practical I think.....
I own Miranda in bordeaux and trust me, you won't be sorry with this bag! It's stunning. I've seen it in black as well and it's gorgeous! It is heavy, but it is so worth it. I think that the shoulder bag is just so...blah kind of I guess...compared to Miranda. Trust me You'll love it!!

I was able to locate a hard-to-find bordeaux Miranda in one of the Coach stores in Caesars Forums shops - it's on hold until my sister arrives...
Seeing as it's sold out online as well as in most of the stores I called, I'm going for this one. I can always get the Legacy shoulder - maybe a Christmas gift from DH??

Both are gorgeous bags. I love both of them. It depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for an everyday bag, then I would go for the shoulder bag, because it seems more practical. If you just want a dressy bag, then go for the Miranda. I would say go for the bag that you personally know you will get more use out of. Let us know what you choose and post pics when you get it!!!
