Help me decide on a leather and color for a birkin

Chartreuse is definitely distinct from Vert Anis. My Vert Anis in Togo is significantly brighter than the Chartreuse in Clemence I tried on. The Chartreuse has more of an olive undertone to it that you can see in the first photo Dior put up. Here are pictures of mine; the first you can see the clover key chain in Chevre looks very different from the Vert Anis in Togo, and then the action shot shows that it is much brighter than Chartreuse in Clemence.

I know chartreuse & vert anis r different in tones but 2 me, i still don't see much difference. yellow, yellower, green or greener, brighter or duller, they're still green anyway. if i compare between vert anis & sunny yellow like Japster's kelly, then ya, the difference.;)

^^yep, GF; tods--check out jemznjewels--they have the same one there but are calling it Vert Anis in Chevre. Jemznjewels.com designer accessories at a fraction of the price.

Luxwear has a 25cm Chartreuse in Chevre that I think is a more accurate representation of Chartreuse in Chevre.

eBay: Chartreuse&Palladium 25cm HERMES BIRKIN BAG ~Chevre! (item 160084519382 end time Feb-21-07 10:33:45 PST)

Here is another discussion on VA tods; HTH!

Ladies, thanks you for your help. I think I really need to find these two colors in a store (perhaps in wallets) and look at them in real light. I find that every picture looks different. In some pictures chartreuse looks to have the right shade of green, in some picture much yellower and browner. Same happens with VA in chevre. Strangely despite my initial statement of wanting a greener green, I find that I don't like VA in togo much, too bright apple green. That with the weight, I am definitely going with chevre. What remains to be seen is whether VA or chartreuse.

Dior, I totally get what you are saying. Sorry for being obsessive compulsive about these two greens. It just that I really don't want to end up regretting the color choice. It's hard buying something you have never seen!
