Food foods you hated but now like

bumping this thread b/c I just made mushroom cream pasta - but I used to loathe mushroom (^(oo)^)

other things I used to hate but now like are: caviar, escargots, tomatoes, chickpeas, okra, tacos, port, very spicy foods, and BEER :drinks:
 
Grilled Cheese (started liking when I was 12)
PB&J (started liking when I was 12... I still hate it every now and then)
Quesadillas (started liking when I was 12 when my mom and dad started putting chicken in them and using cheddar instead of the horrific american processed cheese ones I'd been subjected to in school)

Growing up with a taste for raw fish and rack of lamb was great. People were baffled as to why I wouldn't touch peanut butter.
