I choose the teal one because it's easy-breezy, cooling and calming like being near an ocean. And it's the color of the coral reefs so there you go. During the summer, it will be perfect with a crisp white shirt and blue jeans and during the winter, with gray cashmere and winter white snow :panic:
That's a great point, and exactly what I am looking for in a color- something I can use year round!

The Atlantic has a definite purple tone to it IRL so be careful. I love, love, love this color in pics, but not in person. [emoji6]

Personally, I buy what I like and do not necessarily coordinate my bag with my outfit. I don't feel like I really ever clash either. But that's just me.

GL and do report back.

Great points, and the Atlantic does photograph so beautifully. Looking back through photos, I can definitely see the purple undertone- thank you so much for pointing that out. It's still a beautiful color, but I am now almost decided on the canard. Thank you!

I agree with this, very much - I didn't realize it until I read it - thanks, B, for inadvertently reminding me that coordinating a bag with an outfit isn't a 'thing' anymore. I've found my Scarlett Cervo Hobo goes with anything and everything - I think it's all to do with 'how' and not 'what.'
i agree, I definitely don't "match" my outfits either, and that was one reason I was worried about the canard. Green is my favorite color, so when I do wear color it is usually greens and teals, which made me worried about getting the Canard because I don't want my outfits to "match". Thank you!

Canard Cervo in my arsenal, so I vote for teal
I wear mine (though it's a bit different, brighter shade than teal) with white, beige, jeans/denim, navy blue, any of the above mentioned + a splash of orange (a belt, or bangles, etc), these are my main colours and it goes well with all of them, works like an almost neutral for me.
But indigo is nice, too

1. Just choose the color that speaks most to your heart and you will find yourself wearing it more often anyway....

I happened to love Atlantic and I carried mine everywhere with multitude of outfits, including with those that are not perfectly matching (like Buckeyemommy said, Atlantic has purple undertone that can be tricky).

2. Both colors are not 'easy color' anyway, compared to Ebano or Black! So just take whatever you love!

I'm usually a navy and black bag type of girl, but i am loving that teal/canard color. Sometimes green based bags are very neutral too. There is a Balenciaga bag i really want to buy which is military green/green and it seems to pair well with anything whilst still looking more unique than black. If you want to be on the safer side, go for navy..but the teal green is very pretty. Let's be honest, you can't really go wrong with either bag and color. You must do a reveal when you've decided.

Hi Ladies,
After some serious perusing in this forum, I am ready to take the plunge for my first Bottega Veneta!! I have decided on a large Veneta hobo, but am completely stuck on the color. Background - I have plenty of brown/tan/camel/black purses, so would like to use this purchase to also add some color to my "handbag wardrobe". I do own one navy Chanel Reissue as well. These are the two colors I am trying to decide between - I love love love the teal (it's my favorite color in fact), but worry that I won't get enough use out of it because it is such a strong color, maybe too hard to coordinate with a variety of outfits? I love the indigo/navy color as well, and think it would go with pretty much anything and especially with jeans so was thinking I might get more use out of the blue one? ... I am completely stuck!! Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!View attachment 3394843 View attachment 3394844
I would pick the indigo one.

Hello ladies :flowers:
since I am a relatively new member I can’t start my own threads here and I found this one, I want to ask you a similar question.

Tbh I don’t own that many designer bags but absolutely love the ones I own. I choose the ones I buy very wisely :)

I have been eyeing the Jodie in medium but am not quite sure, which color to get. Currently I am torn between black and grape. My wardrobe mostly consists out of neutral colors such as beige or I mostly wear black.

That would be my first BV bag. Other bags I own have the Damier Ebene pattern or are white. The only black bag I own is the boy bag.

My problem is that I don’t have any colorful bags (are they hard to combine?) but also I can’t definitely say that I have enough black bags, so I can ditch the thought of buying the black BV.

The grape color just seems so interesting and somehow I think of the many counterfeit products I have seen, when I think about the black BV.

I hope you can share some of your thoughts with me! I really want to get the best use of the bag I possibly can :)
