There's nothing wrong with it unless you are selling a fake and are scared of getting caught. I also don't think that just by saying you are aTPF member you are trustworthy. I did said I was a member in my last listings (time ago) just because I was giving instructions on how authenticate my bag in this forum. And my buyer was also a member and had it verified here for free.

I say in my auctions that I am a member of TPF there is no reason not to.
