Since I am stuck at home today due to bad weather, I am making a pot roast.

This is the best recipe I have ever come across, and the easiest. I make mine in the crockpot.

3 lb roast (of your choice)
2-3 cans of golden mushroom soup (I use Campbell's)
1 packet dry onion soup mix (I use Lipton's)

Cut off any extra large chunks of fat off the roast. Place roast in the bottom of crockpot. Pour the cans of mushroom soup over the roast. Sprinkle the package of dried onion soup mix over the top. Cook on low all day--

If you start with a frozen roast, cook on high for the the first couple of hours, then you can move it down to low. Generally, the longer it cooks the better, but I usually leave mine in for a minimum of six hours.

Vegetables can be added, but I don't like it, as I think that they get too soggy.

Serve with biscuits, and any kind of potato/rice/pasta dish of your choice. I usually serve a salad or a green veggie as well.

Enjoy, Ladies!!
