Dooney and Bourke store excursion part 2

Yeah. It’s me again…. I wanted another Hattie while they were on clearance for $209…
And I came up on these 2 items I could not pass up.

They had a really nice colored tag sample sale. And wallets for $50…
I had to ask her was the price right?
Florentine medium mail satchel in natural $125
Florentine DB duck medium wallet in natural $50
And I got the Florentine medium Hattie in chestnut $209
All sales final on the samples. This S.A. Said they don’t ship… I couldn’t take any video or pictures. She said NO!
I wanted the Bristol $175 but the mail satchel was $125 soooooo mail satchel won since I know it works for me

Oh my goodness LJ. I did go ahead and put most in my savings and treat myself to the chestnut Hattie while it was still on clearance. I was at the store at the right time. This mail satchel never goes on sale. They said sample but it looks regular to me. Very happy I was able to go and score this set. The wallet alone was worth the drive and i know it’s a collector’s item

I absolutely love the mail satchel. But I have to know, is it heavy? A lot of the reviews say it is.

It’s heavier than the Hattie. Its got weight empty but not too bad.It feels like the small satchel in weight to me, not as heavy as the large flo satchel. I have a Toledo leather mail satchel and that one is heavier than the Florentine. I love the domed opening of the mail satchel. I can see everything and it opens wide. Very nice carry

You never know what treasures you will find unless you go to the
outlets or store sales. Shopping online is great, but being able to
touch and feel and discover hidden treasures is better.
Sometimes you find nothing special, but often there are goodies
that make the trip worthwhile. Glad you were successful.... again!

And the more often you shop at the same place, the better the chance
to establish a relationship with a sales associate, or even the store manager.
They might even give you a heads up for future visits or at least answer your
phone calls/questions to help you decide if another trip is worth making.

The few times I have gone into the store I have not seen the same S.A. More than once. Always someone new. I definitely call before I make the drive to see if they have what I want. If they didn’t have the chestnut Hattie in the store, I would NOT have gone yesterday. And I would have missed out on rare gems. That bag has NEVER been that low price. And that wallet was a once in a lifetime find for $50
Thank goodness it was rainy/stormy out because I know neither of those items would have been there had it been sunny and nice bring people out to shop
