Versace has Medusa, and now others are getting in on bold gold hardware, this time with rams' heads and snakes. Derek Lam decorated his new line of carryalls with the baroque details, and stylist Rachel Zoe added a dash of flash to the bags she designed for Judith Leiber. Says Zoe, "It's exotic glamour."

Late to this thread, as usual! :shame:

I really like Derek Lam's designs and I love the Ram's head motif.

British Vogue said it was inspired by an antique Florentine bracelet.

I prefer the Persephone, for me, as I like slouchy shoulder bags; but I agree, it's a bit rich for my blood, too.

If that really was an antique bracelet and not just a copy, that would be a different story!

I haven't seen or held one yet but I've been reading that they are Very Heavy!
