Depressed after double jaw - where can one get lifting done in their 20s?

@sodapops I saw your pics on the other thread & I think you should wait maybe another 6 mths because you are still healing. Your face is still swollen in some areas. If you rush now and get a facelift and there is more sagging after your face completely heals you`ll be facing the same dilemma.

Since you have soft tissue migration why not look into collagen stimulators like radiesse or sculptra? Those are fillers to stimulate collagen (skin tightening and elasticity improvement) , improve fat cells and blood flow. Prf ( platelet rich fibrin) is an affordable injectable that's derived from your own blood and can also be a great alternative to surgery. I think the most widely used bio stimulator in South Korea is called ELLANSE. All treatments mentioned above are injectables that can serve anywhere from 5-10 years or even permanently. Do some research on the treatments to see if any can help you. Best wishes.

I'm sorry you are feeling good about your results. I agree that they don't look bad as others have said. When I got a consult from ID for V-Line surgery, they indicated that I would also need a SMAS facelift. This is a facelift that lifts up the muscles and it is likely necessary to get this done if you are doing any type of jaw shaving or v-line surgery. Best of luck, you can still get it done in Korea.

In another thread of mine, I talked a bit about my heavy swelling after double jaw surgery, v line, and lipo in the neck. I am happy with the shape of what was done to me, but sadly there are many problems related to the drooping of my skin. I am now nearly 8 months out of surgery, but I hate showing my face. I look like a grandma thanks to my soft tissue formation and my panic attacks and depression have been getting worse. I am looking for options on how to fix the soft tissue and sagging in my face, but I haven't found any place that would work on a patient for lifting as young as I. Any recommendations? Any surgeons? I plan on getting a lip lift later this year, and maybe Thermitight, but I think I need something more drastic...
may I know where did you do your operation d 2 jaw vline etc?

do the SMAS Facelift

I am considering V-line for a pretty square jaw. I am concerned about sagging as well. On my online consult they suggested I get a non-icisional SMAS lift at the same time. I believe this is not a classic SMAS face lift.... anyone know if that's a good idea or should i wait it out after the V line and see if I sag? I am 28 btw.

Interesting. Never heard of non-incisional smas. did they describe the procedure to you? Which clinic was this? It is a good idea to wait until after your Vline surgery when all the swelling has gone down.

I just want to add... DO NOT EVER REMOVE BUCCAL FAT. You will regret it and it will cause another problem where right between your upper cheekbone and the new "sagging" area it will become hollow and dented in.

I made this mistake  please don't do it. The buccal fat keeps your face extremely youthful and will not help with the lower sagging that you are concerned with. I have the same problem from my 2jaw surgery.

I'm considering doing a double jaw to correct my flat midface problem, and I'm a bit worried about sagging after reading some threads online. I did ask for a conservative plan that preserves the length of my face as much as possible. I'm not doing any other procedures. I'm hoping that this will not put me under a big risk of sagging?

i guess threadlift is one of your only options? but it’s not too bad. threadlifting will tighten and produce collagen and stuff. it’s not the end of the world. i think your result looks wonderful, except the sagging i guess but we all look at ourselves with a microscope

when I was having my consultation for two-jaw with dr.oh from regen skin laxity was one of my most bothering issues, but he told me that my skin isn’t too heavy and most probably I won’t need facelift. On the contrary, when my friend had a consultation with him, he mentioned it right away, that her skin is quite heavy and she might need a facelift later on. So, why your surgeon didn’t mention it during your pre-op consultation? My friend just bc of that changed her mind and I personally think every doctor should mention this as one of side effects. anyway, I remember dr.oh was also telling something about deep plane. I don’t think threadlift would help, so get a consultation with at least 1 specialist to have a rough idea of what you can do further. Good luck….
