wtf??? gosh, after reading these stories im scared. someone could just run up behind you and grab your purse. how do we prevent that???

Im so glad you and your bag is ok. Thats so scary!!!
I've approached and asked people about their bags before and asked if I could see it before but everything is done politely. Its scary because since I do that, if someone were to ask me, I wouldnt think anything of it because I do it myself.... I guess soemthing for me to keep in mind that they might steal it. Its terrible how a few people ruin it for everyone.

yikes! Some of these are pretty scary stories, I'm glad all of you escaped relatively unscathed! I know that young girls these days are starting on this "designer kick" earlier and earlier...and in many cases when parents won't buy it for them...who knows what peer pressure can cause them to succumb to?
it sure does sound like she had plans on stealing it if you say she said "...get it". That's pretty scary. I think though if push came to shove and someone 'criminal' wanted my bag, to heck with it, take it! They could be armed and dangerous! I love my LV, but I love living a whole lot more.
