Kelly Lakis originally was created and designed by an architect named Lakis late 2004 (sorry i cannot recall his full name), which he is a very good client of the special order department of Hermes Magasin in Paris.his idea was to creat a Kelly with more functional compartments. House of Hermes like this design so much which they have decied to put it into production, it only comes in Box leather with toile, 35 and 40cm with a much shorter shoulder strap in Box and cotton, and the colors are only black, ebene and etoupe.

It's a Kelly Lakis. I tried one on in SF acouple of years ago. It's a very practical Kelly, except for the fabric component. I'm not sure if they are made in all leather, and I can't tell from the photo.
As I recall, the zip pockets are gussted on one side so they are actually usable. I've only seen them IRL in black.
I had to decide between the Kelly Lakis and an orange suede Kelly, and I chose the suede, which I have never used!
I think the price was @$5600, but that was 2 years ago.
