I think it all depends on quantity vs. quality. You can have a lot of different not-so-great quality items or you can have one truly great quality item. I would love to be the type who`s all about quality but I`m a greedy little girl that I always focus on quantity. 
Perhaps as time goes by and I get older, I`ll learn that it`s not all about how many things I have but what I have. But like I always say, different strokes for different folks. -shrug-
