I don't think so. It could be a little dry, but with the right aconditioning products the leather will turn much better, smooth and fluffly. Try LMB ones, they're the best!
Based on the price of the bag....it shouldn't be any of those 2008 colors It's might be 2009 blue layette but prices for those bags at the time in 2009 were still either $1495 or $1595. Who knows if it was sold in 2009 and was from old stock. that could happen too.
I am hoping for turquoise.
And MAGJES, I agree. I put very little faith in the receipt even being for the bag. But as long as it's authentic, I'm happy.

Are the leathers of balenciaga suppose to be sensitive with water/rain? Do they absorb water fast or it's a little bit water proof of some sort?
I have this weekend to decide whether or not to keep this bag. Any thoughts regarding authenticity would be greatly appreciated.

The zipperhead with the "B" is the new style and it looks fine but you're missing a photo of the bale & of the entire bag.
Also if you could post a larger straight on, in focus shot of the front & back of the inner tag, with numbers in focus it would greatly help the gals here.
The rivet photo is good but might not be quite large enough. I know it's a pain to retake the photos but the authenticators need clear, in focus pics that are large enough to see specific details.

However, I'm now unsure because the stamp on the reverse of the silver tag seems a little high (i.e. not perfectly centered top to bottom ). Uploading some extra photos that wasn't on the ebay listing.

Hi I'm looking for help authenticating this Classic Black City Bag that I received from MyHabit. I ordered it before I read that they sell fake bags and now I am very concerned. I tried to go to Balenciaga and have them authenticate it but, they don't do that. Thank you so much for your help!
