An authentic Chloe Tekla without the serial number?

hi guys, I just received my first Tekla from NW today, and strangely, there is no sewed-in serial number inside the pocket, is this normal?

I can't say about the Tekla, but I used to have a Gladys that had no serial number in the pocket. The bag was from Net-a-porter, so it was definitely authentic.

I used to have a Chloe Ascot as well from NAP and it had no serial number. I spoke with Chloe and they said that some bags never were made with them
