If it’s actually prolapsing fat that is causing eye bags, then fat repositioning is good. But too often it’s a result of not enough bone and soft tissue in the under eye area, which creates an unfavourable shadow when light shines on the face. fillers or fat will help with this but fillers are temporary and fat is not predictable. Best option would be custom implants for the orbital

Ive been reading the posts on purseforum for a long time, but never posted anything or made an account until recently haha.
I was wondering if anyone have gotten the under eye fat repositioning surgery in Korea?? I have dark circles and was told by the consultants at ID and Cinderella that the best way to fix that is to get under eye fat repositioning surgery, and they said that the result will last a life time, until normal aging kicks in again.
It all sounds so good!! UNTIL i searched on youtube for reviews and saw some youtubers review their under eye fat repositioning results.... (the videos i saw were from channels 2hearts1seoul and TaYa Sunaz)
I noticed that 1 year after their surgery, their eye bags already are back O___O! Thats really shocking and makes me think if paying for something and enduring the recovery proccess is worth it if it doesn't last anyway.
I couldnt find much information on the under eye fat repositioning surgery on purseforum, which is why I made this postIf you have had this procedure done, and its been a few months or years.... what are your results??? Would you say that the results are truly "lasting", like the ID and Cinderella consultants said? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated ^_^

Hi I just did my under eye bag fat repositioning at namu. So far it looks really good. But I’m still swollen from recovery. I’m hoping it last for few years. But will update once I’m fully recover and less swollen. Right now it’s looks smooth and flat. So there’s no hollowness. Remember ask the clinic if you have enough fat for them to reposition. I felt like mines didn’t have too much fat. It was more dark circles and hollowness is my problem.
Did mine 3 years ago. There’s definitely an improvement with eyebags which helps me look less tired and haggard. Didn’t do much for dark eye circles and veins but I don’t think it’s supposed to. Had residual swelling under one eye which took 1.5 years to resolve completely but the results last alright. For those who said it didn’t last, could that be because of swelling going down? Before the transconjuctival fats repositioning, I did undereye fats graft which I felt was not as good. I was slightly overfilled under one eye. Fats graft is not very precise and has more room for miscalculation for the delicate undereye areas.

I can’t remember, it was 3 years ago. I had discounts for appearing on a Taiwanese news channel for generally featuring plastic surgery in SK. The documentary-liked video was not promotional, the viewpoints were neutral, and posed some rhetorical questions on PS to its viewers.
How long did the result last? I'm trying to figure out if I should do fillers or fat repositioning under my eyes for my dark circles.
Does anyone knows a well known oculoplastic surgeon for under eyelid blepharoplasty surgery?

yes, it did come back with my grandma's eyebag , she had her eyes bag removal in singapore and after 8 months, her eye bag comes back. I recently had an online consult with a clinic in Korea for her and discussed about her eyebag, they explained that the eyebag will come back if the primary surgery was not done properly.
I had blepharoplasty and under eye fat repositioning at top class in 2018, it lasted 4 years and I was extremely happy with the results. I didn’t need any touch ups - only now I see the eye area hollowing out again but not as bad as it was before.
