This would be my first thread but I've been wondering if I'm the only "poor" lady out there that can't afford to wear her lovely lipstick everyday.

Do you have any lipstick that you love but is too expensive to wear everyday?

for me, lipstick lasts a long time so I wouldn't hesitate to wear an expensive one as often as I wanted to
I'm a big fan of the La Bouche Rouge lipsticks & I would rather have one special lipstick that is long wearing
& make my lips feel luscious than an inexpensive lipstick that doesn't work on various levels.. like drying out my lips.
There are many companies that do wonderful reds & neutrals , but for me the LBR reds are really lipluscious.
If you have a lovely lipstick, you should wear it every day. Once opened, the lipstick will begin to deteriorate. It will take a year or so, but it will gradually lose quality and not be the lipstick you bought. So enjoy it and please don't save it for special occasions!
I agree with others here, it takes me a really long time to use up an entire lip product, although I never use the same one daily. If you found something you love just use it, don't save it! It's probably cheaper in the long run anyway to buy something you really love and use up vs. a bunch of cheap lip products that sit there unused.
My most expensive lipstick is a Gucci lip balm. At first, I planned to only use it in my luxury bags...until I realized everyday is special so it’s my daily bag. Like luxury bags, it’s good to switch/circulate to help with wear and tear. So I bought a second lip balm from another designer.
I mostly wear MAC lipsticks, which aren't as pricey, but I agree that they're meant to be worn. Once they're opened they begin to dry out and change. Use them or lose them!
Life is too short, wear your favorite lipstick everyday!!
the average lipstick will take about 300 swipes to be used up. a $30 lipstick means cost per swipe is about 10cents. So.... swipe away.
Tom Ford. But since the pandemic, I haven't been wearing them much. But now I force myself before they expire. 
I have tons of lipsticks, some expensive. My motto is: Use it before it expires! Don’t save your expensive makeup for a special day, as it will expire by then.
I have always thought that lipstick is not something worth spending a lot of money on (sorry if anyone has a different opinion). If I put on lipstick, it means that I am going somewhere and most likely I will eat and drink. So my favorite lipstick in many shades is NYX soft matte lip cream, I just love it! I don't mind to use it everyday
If you eat something greasy, or drink coffee, then part of the lipstick will be wiped off the lips. I would not call a lipstick stand. But it is very comfortable for the lips, does not dry or tighten them. In addition, I usually apply lipstick over slightly absorbed lip balm, which makes it even more comfortable, but even less long-wearing. Applying a new layer of lipstick is not a problem for me
