Does your Louis Vuitton dust bag says 'Made In India'?

I randomly looked at the tag inside the dust bag. It says:

100% Cotton
Made in India

That's strange... I never knew LV would associate with India? And no my LV is not a replica and I bought my LV item at the real boutique.

I just checked some of mine. Most of them say 100% Cotton / Made in Italy, including the felt bags for my LV shoes. The red felt for my cerise pochette says Made in Spain. How strange.

Just checked the dustbag that covered an LV we bought at Christmas time. It does say, "100 Cotton Made In India" HTH.

Edit: Yep all of the dust bags I have say Made in India as well. LV doing a bit of outsourcing?

Just checked one of my dustbags, and it's Made In India.

But a question: What's the big deal if it is? I'm curious about the "uh oh" responses. Maybe it's because of my background (my family is South Asian) but I don't particularly see the difference. I kind of like that my people are associated with LV, even in such a teeny way

A little bit off topic...I got the Sherwood PM yesterday via lv.com ordering and the dustbag it came in was a drawstring top bag. Anyone seen one of these before? I have four other PM size handbags and they all cam with the fold-over flap dustbag.
