Hi - really hoping to find this bag. Found this on Amazon. Are they reputable?

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0030I6RH4/dscounts-20

Thank you!
Rjroyse

One of the problems with Amazon is that there's no way to tell what kind of items the individual Feedback comments refer to. Also there's no way to tell if the seller takes their own photos, and there's no description at all of the bag, not even whether or not it's NWT or NWOT and if the bag in the photos is the exact one you'll receive. Remember, you're not buying from Amazon, you're buying from a private seller.

So to answer your question - do you see anything at all that tells you they're reputable? Because I don't. Maybe they are, but if I'm thinking of spending 300 bucks I want a lot more proof than just some photos that may or may not be the bag I'm buying.

Personally the only way I'd buy from a private seller on Amazon is if I knew and trusted the seller from another site. JMO.

Sorry, but it's counterfeit. You need to take it back and insist on a full refund. It's just as illegal for Goodwill to sell counterfeit merchandise as it is for any other individual or organization.

Just a few things that are completely wrong - wrong lining, wrong stitching, wrong font on the Coach stamps and stamps where there shouldn't be any, wrong zipper pull, peeling "leather" that's probably vinyl, just for starters. Sorry, I hope you get your money back.

Hi folks, appreciate the wonderful service you're providing here.

Comments: Just bought this bag, and wanted to see if there was any way to confirm that it's authentic. Thank you all very much!

There should be a better picture of the creed for this listing but I do NOT recommend seller dooney2006.

If you are the winning bidder, you paid more for that bag than you would have if the seller hadn't used a shill bidder to drive up the prices on her listings. Grrrr!

Edited to add: This seller only used one shiller in this listing but other previous listings have at least one other shill bidder.

Edited again: Ugh! The carp gets deeper. Not only does dooney2006 shill bid, but she also sells fakes:

Hello again - just got the bag. I've taken some close-up shots so we can see if this bag's as shady as its seller seems to be

Thank you!!!

I think the buyer already returned the bag to the seller (after the accusation but before coming here.)

In this post, she said she took pictures before sending it back:

EDITED TO ADD:
Good grief, Warcraft Wench!! You left the seller a neutral feedback for a fake when you received an authentic bag and the seller only made a mistake and sent the other bag she'd had listed?!?!?!?

Wow! I hope you don't get that type of buyer if you ever make a mistake!

It's the seller's most recent neutral.

WW, you need to change that Feedback ASAP unless you want to find yourself on hundreds of Blocked Bidder lists.

And NEVER accuse someone of selling a fake unless a Coach expert - and NOT some Sales Associate in a Coach store - confirms it.

This is a real one. The suede tends to mat down a bit with use but you can compare your bag to it:

She has plenty of photos from many angles.

I actually contacted the seller it was on listia.com it is a site like ebay but only difference is you sell your items for credits instead of cash. It is fun and i am always reporting fake bags on there. The lady I won this bag from is a very reputable seller but I think she won it from another seller as well and it had her fooled as well. I am waiting to hear back from her I told her I want to return the bag.

I'm sorry but that's a fake.

Even Goodwill is prohibited from selling fakes. ALthough they don't do their due dilligence, like any other seller, Goodwill is supposed to authenticate any items before selling.

Can you take it back and get a refund? Tell them that they illegal sold a counterfeit item.

Sellers on Amazon do steal the pictures of other sellers, some of whom are other Amazon sellers and some use pictures taken from ebay, Bonz or elsewhere.

In fact, Ace Photo Digital., the seller of the bag in question did use some of MY pictures in a listing and when I wrote to him about it, he denied stealing pictures but admitted that they weren't his own. Evidently, part of the Amazon agreement requires Amazon sellers to share their own pictures with each other and apparently someone ELSE had used my pictures and he stole from them.

After I filed a copyright infringement complaint with Amazon (as an outside seller), they looked at my pictures and removed his listing.

So I do not recommend Ace Photo Digital as a seller to do business with on Amazon.

I think your bag looks good. It appears to be a department store exclusive, indicated by the X on the tag.

Sadly, it appears that dooney2006 is a seller who mixes authentic and fakes, which is more misleading to buyers than a seller who sells all fakes. And as she also shill bids her listings, this is a seller to avoid.
