I never purchased any Yuman jewerly before and also I am not familiar with this brand (I am in Toronto). But I guess Holt Refrew might sell them, just wondering is Yuman similar as Tiffany? or totally two different level of jewlery?

It depends on what you are looking for. Yurman and Tiffany have VERY different styles. Are you looking at Tiffany's sterling silver collection or their fine jewelry (gold, platinum/diamonds etc)?

They carry the same priced 'designer' stuff, but I think Tiffany carries more prestige, since they've been around longer. Not to say they have better quality products, but simply better branding. Both have recognizable pieces, but most people would recognize Tiffany's jewelry over Yurman.

Like fashion16 mentioned, completely different styles, but DY is still considered a high-end designer.

People think of gemstones when they think of Yurman while people think about silver and "Return to Tiffany" and Open Hearts when they think of Tiffany. At least thats what I think. Compared to Tiffany's silver, like the "Return to Tiffany" line, I think Yurman is more unique.

When I think "Tiffany" I really think classic, clean lines, especially for their sterling pieces. Simple, elegant.

David Yurman I think chunky, substantial silver. I think of those wavy lines and crossovers & colored gemstones, or silver/diamond pairings.

And of course, I knew the name T&Co waaaay before I learned about DY.
