YSL toy LouLou - leather cream

SO just bought me a toy Loulou for my birthday. Should I put leather cream on it before using? Can you recommend some brands? I only had a pot of leather cream I bought from Harrods years ago but just ran out. Is Collonil any good? TIA

I do not treat the leather on any of my bags.
The natural oils for your hands should be good enough.

Congratulations! She’s adorable! I just ordered one pre-loved and will be afraid to put anything on it haha! I would probably ask the boutique directly before using anything.

I have used the Collinil Carbon Pro on my new purchased bags before taking them out--with the exception of my newer bag because I haven't had time. (I don't want to spray my bags around my toddler and she is pretty much always with me.) The bags feel pretty much the same after being sprayed but I did notice a very slight difference on black lambskin. It gives me piece of mind to have them protected. It does not rain often where I live but when it has and I've had my bags, I didn't worry. Also for light colored bags I worry less about color transfer.
