Hey dear fellow purse lovers!

I really really need your advice

Im thinking of getting a pre-loved ysl roady bag in pure white (for summer). I love how simple it looks and I really love slouchy bags and i cannot find anything similar on the market currently. But since it's quite easy to date this bag (and it's about 5 yo) Im quite apprehensive... and I think i won't be able to sell this bag later on and the one i have my eyes on is about 700$.

hm What is your take on this?

I don't think the bag is dated at all! [emoji3]
It's rather a classic in my opinion. And a beautiful one.
I wouldn't buy it in white though. Too much maintenance.
Think about colour transfer....

I always found the Roady to be a classic and timeless shape and silhouette. It's a hobo bag with no discernible markings. I'm just not sure if I'd buy one in white.

A lot of the Roadys were done in patent; maybe a white bag in patent would be easier to maintain? I agree it's a classic style. You might want to shop around a bit though -- you can often find Roadys for somewhat less. I see them a lot on The Real Real.

Thank you so much for your comment. I am in two minds about this bag because of the handle! Many people even on ebay say they haven't used this bag often and i was wondering if they find this bag uncomfortable. Is this bag comfortable to use at all? Thanks!!
