YSL Niki All black

Hello everyone, I am hesitating between a Niki all black (with the straps in black) and the normal black one. Did any of you had any issues with the black metal straps ? Thank you !

I have an all black croc-embossed one and love it. Got it in June and use it every weekend and have yet to have any chipping or other issues with the metal. As much as I try, I don't baby my bags. The logo is leather and haven't had any problems with that either. Love how versatile (and edgy) it is because there's no gold or silver on it.

I'm disappointed with it the bhw chipped within weeks of use and I kinda baby it cuz I really wanted it to last. But if you really love the look, I'd say go for it. I'm looking for longevity so I'm going to exchange it.

Saint Laurent YSL Niki Bag

Does anyone have the Niki in lambskin and can talk about the wear and tear of the bag? I'm keen to get it in black lambskin because of the gold hardware but am worried about how easy it will get scratched... I understand the crinkled leather can be used more heavy-handed but haven't seen many...
